Snap is working on a new version of its wearable camera, known as Spectacles, according to a new report.
Cheddar reported Friday that the company plans a second version of the glasses-mounted camera this fall, and working on a third “more ambitious” version with two cameras.
Snap has downplayed the future of Spectacles on recent earning calls, but sources tell me that not one, but TWO new versions are currently in the works. V2 slated to ship by the fall. Full scoop here: https://t.co/9UUSE9Nkjg #CheddarScoops

Snap has also discussed licensing its cameras to other eyewear companies, Cheddar reported.
The company’s first version was a bust – and it had to write off over production of the original after selling only about 150,000 of them.
