Kentucky Restaurant Owners Fight Addiction Crisis One Employee at a Time

A restaurant owning couple in Kentucky kept losing employees to drug overdoses and other addiction-related problems. So the couple took on a nationwide crisis. Last September, they opened DV8 Kitchen, a restaurant in Lexington that not only hires people in treatment for addiction to opioids or other substances, but also focuses its entire business model on recovery, using the restaurant setting as a tool for rehabilitation.
