Illinois Law Makes Cannabis a Replacement for Opioids

A new law signed by Illinois Gov. Bruce Rauner makes cannabis available to any patient who would normally qualify for a prescription for an opioid painkiller, a fairly significant expansion of the state’s medical marijuana law.
