Cannabis Becomes Part of the Curriculum at Canadian Colleges

From cultivation and management to branding and investment, courses reach far across the occupational spectrum….With Canada (and by proxy, Canadians) slowly shedding the age-old stigma, a growing number of postsecondary schools are boasting cannabis education courses to help open exciting new doors to the lucrative industry. “From growers and quality assurance personnel to biological control specialists, the program prepares students to work in many aspects of the cannabis industry,” says Bill MacDonald, professor, and coordinator of Niagara College’s Commercial Cannabis Production Program.
