Amazon To Deliver to Your Car

Amazon begins delivery to vehicles starting today in a partnership with General Motors and Volvo.

The service will be available only to drivers of certain vehicles in 37 cities, but the companies plan to expand the service nationwide.

The service, which is free to Amazon Prime members who also have an active OnStar account, will be available at first on about 7 million 2015 or newer Chevy, Buick, GMC and Cadillac vehicles, and on recent-model Volvos with On Call service.

Amazon is aiming the service at customers who may not think their packages will be safe at home on a front porch, but can’t get them delivered to a work address.
