Southwest Airlines has announced several new non-stop flights, including a Los Angeles to Tampa route, and service between Nashville and Atlanta
Southwest announced a new route from Los Angeles to Florida with daily nonstop service between Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Tampa (TPA) beginning Aug. 7, one of several new routes planned by the low cost airline this year.
The airline also is starting service to Atlanta from Nashville with five daily flights on weekdays.
Other new flights for Southwest include service between Kansas City and Raleigh-Durham and St. Louis and Hartford, Conn.
“Additionally, the carrier remains on-track with its intention to sell tickets this year to Hawaii, subject to requisite governmental approvals,” Southwest said on its website.
